On the 4th November, I talked about combining PRINCE2 and Agile (Scrum) at the Nordic Project Zone conference in Copenhagen. The audience consisted primarily of Project Managers and decision makers with a background in traditional project management. I was therefore very excited to see how my ideas on combining traditional project management and Agile, and especially my points about why you should think twice before doing it, would be received the audience. Luckily the feedback I got was very positive.
I preciously summarized my primary concerns on combining PRINCE2 and Agile in the post Be Careful Combining PRINCE2 and Agile. My slides from the conference can be found on Slideshare below.
Please feel free to leave a comment on the subject. What is your experience combining PRINCE2 with Agile?

Hi,
Love the concept of PRINCE and Agile, we use these combined all the time. We’ve developed some tools to help check your progress with delivering PRINCE2 and Agile, they are free to use and located here http://www.totalprogrammecontrol.com . We are looking for people to help develop these further and create a PRINCE2/Agile check and guide.
